What is holistic wellness?
Holistic wellness is an integrative approach to wellbeing that considers the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. It recognizes the connection between emotional, physical, mental, relational, and spiritual health, supporting greater self-awareness, balance, and growth. By tending to our whole self, holistic wellness helps cultivate resilience, strengthen connection, and support a more fulfilling, aligned life.
What services do you offer?
Our wellness offerings include in-person and online support, both one-on-one and in group settings. Services include professional counselling, holistic coaching, and mindfulness-based practices such as yoga and movement and somatic practices. We also offer women’s gatherings, day retreats, and extended retreat experiences.
What is the difference between counselling and coaching?
Counselling focuses on understanding and supporting emotional wellbeing, often exploring past and present experiences to foster healing, insight, and growth. Coaching is more forward-focused and goal-oriented, supporting you to clarify intentions and take practical steps toward personal or professional goals.
While counselling often explores the why, coaching focuses on the how. Both approaches can be supportive in different ways, and together can offer meaningful support depending on your needs and where you are in your life.
Who can benefit from your services?
Our services are well suited for individuals seeking personal growth, emotional regulation, stronger relationships, and overall wellbeing. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, managing stress, deepening connection, or healing from past experiences, we offer compassionate, human-centred support tailored to your unique needs.
What are mindfulness-based somatic practices?
Mindfulness-based somatic practices are gentle approaches that support awareness of the connection between mind and body. They help cultivate a sense of safety, regulation, and resilience by inviting you to notice physical sensations, movement, breath, and present-moment experience.
These practices may include:
body scanning and guided awareness
somatic and sensory-based practices
gentle movement, yoga, and breathwork
mindfulness and relaxation techniques
By bringing attention to the body in a supportive way, somatic practices can help release tension, increase self-awareness, and support emotional wellbeing.
